The booking form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the service you want, and whatever you tell us about the car. If you arrived from a lesson, the form may also include that lesson and subject so the workshop can understand what led to the enquiry.

Our web server keeps standard access logs — the address your request came from, the page, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. Every web server does this, and it is how we find out the site is broken.

We use your details to answer your enquiry and to book the work. We do not sell them, rent them, or hand them to anyone marketing anything.

We do not send marketing email. Submitting the form does not put you on a list, because there is no list.

This is the part most sites leave out, so it is stated plainly.

The site runs on a server administered by Teddy's Cleaning Services, which builds and operates it for the workshop. The booking endpoint validates your enquiry there and submits it to the workshop's email service; it does not write a separate lead record or database on that server.

Enquiry emails are submitted through Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service using the Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region. Amazon processes the message under its service terms in order to deliver it.

The sending identity for that email is shared, so a reply from us may arrive from an address on the teddyscleaning.com.au domain rather than ours. That is not a phishing attempt. If it worries you — and it reasonably might — ring the workshop and check.

There is no advertising on this site, no advertising pixels, and no cross-site tracking.

The fonts are served from our own server rather than from Google, so reading a page here does not tell Google you did.

If you arrive at the booking form from a lesson, your browser remembers which lesson that was, in its own storage, on your device. It is sent to us only if you choose to send the form — it tells the workshop which lesson earned the booking. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Enquiries remain in the workshop mailbox while they are needed to answer you and manage the work. Enquiries that become jobs may also form part of the workshop's service records. A fixed deletion period has not yet been confirmed; you can ask for deletion at any time using the contact details below.

Whether every part of the Privacy Act 1988 applies depends on facts about the business that this website cannot determine. We do not claim an exemption here.

We aim to handle your details in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you think we have mishandled something, tell us first so we can correct it. The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner explains privacy rights and complaints at oaic.gov.au.

The lessons are written to be readable by a curious twelve-year-old, and we are glad when they are. The booking form is not for them — it is for whoever owns the car. We do not knowingly collect details from children.

If what we do with your data changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
